Teen/Adult Beginning Ballet (Ages 13+)Conservatory of Dance - American Ballet Theatre
Here the basics of Ballet Technique, Terminology are brought together to create a solid foundation. This foundation prepares students to confidently advance to the next level and is a great tool for anyone studying dance.
Recommended frequency: once per week
Dress Code: Ladies-any color leotard, pink ballet slippers & tights, hair up and securely fastened. Gentlemen-Any color shirt & tights, ballet shoes.

Intermediate/Advanced Teen/Adult Ballet (Ages 11+) 
These classes will encompass the same CCD principals and are available for intermediate to advanced levels.

Recommended frequency: two to five times per week.
Dress Code: Ladies-any color leotard, pink ballet slippers & tights, hair up and securely fastened. Gentlemen-Any color shirt & tights, ballet shoes.

Primary/Tap Combo (Ages 4-8)
60 minute classes that challenge the student with proper
technique and fun combinations. Dancers will spend 30 minutes in jazz where
they learn body placement, gain strength and flexibility, and increase range of
motion and coordination. The next 30 minutes is spent learning the basic steps
and terminology of tap. These classes are created to prepare the student for
the next level of dance at CCD which is single subject classes.

Hip Hop (Ages 7+)
A high-energy class that uses the latest sounds in rap,
R&B and pop music together with movements influenced by some of today’s
hottest video choreographers. Hip Hop encompasses movement that has elements of poppin’, locking, and breaking as well as freestyle movement to give students
the opportunity to develop their own sense of style. Hip Hop is urban, it’s
street, it’s diverse and forever changing. The classes are broken down by age
and by level.

Tap (Ages 7+) 
At each level of tap the dancers will focus on developing
skills in tap technique, rhythm, syncopation and coordination. The
combinations, steps and rhythms get more advanced and challenging at each
level. Improvisation and choreography are important tools students will
develop.

Contemporary Jazz (Ages 7+)
Jazz is an exciting and ever evolving dance form full of
rhythm, syncopation, passion and life. The class begins with a center warm up
focused on classical principles, strength, range of motion and flexibility.
Dancers are given simple to complex locomotor exercises that challenge these
principles depending on their age and class level. Dancers are given center
combinations of choreography that encourages individual expression and the
development of personal style.

Pilates Mat Classes (ages 10 and up)
A great way to strengthen and tone your body, increase lung capacity and circulation through deep breathing, improve coordination and overall body awareness.

Dress Code: Ladies and Gentlemen comfortable attire is required
